An Inclusive West Lancashire is a network of organisations from across the West Lancashire area and beyond who provide support to people of all ages with physical and/or learning disabilities. The purpose of the network is to work where and when possible in a joined up and co-operative way
Project Update/Outcome:
The development of An Inclusive West Lancashire has revealed a number of opportunities we hadn’t anticipated. Identifying and co-ordinating organisations who are now members of the network was only the beginning. As a result of working in partnership with various organisations we are now looking at a number of key roles the network can take on. These include developing a quality standards framework, create a network charter, develop and agree a short-, medium- and long-term strategy, look at ways of using the network as a commissioning body for the sector, become greater than the sum of its parts.
