The Divine Days Celebration Awards is an opportunity to honour those individuals and businesses who have demonstrated a commitment to accessibility and to breaking down barriers for people with additional learning needs and/or disability. Please review the categories below and place your nomination for each category.

Categories

Inclusive opportunities for skills development

Recognising any education establishment, local business partner or team member who promotes the value of inclusive practice for learning life and work alongside developing inclusive/innovative projects to promote work experience, apprenticeships or other career opportunities.  

Mental health and well-being champion

Celebrating any organisation who promotes the importance of emotional well-being and mental health of staff (and clients/students/families as applicable) and who has shown a commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing as part of the life of the setting

Education leader of the year

This award recognises an inspirational leader who brings a clear vision of what they want to achieve. One who has made a significant cotributions to improve outcomes for children and young people alongside who motivates, encourages and supports both staff and children/young people to be happy, thrive and to reach their full potential

Going the extra mile award

Recognising a team or individual who have made a significant contribution to their establishment and local community, one who has shown dedication and commitment, working behind the scenes to overcome challenges and improve the life chances of the people of Lancashire

Inspiring Business Award

This award acknowledges businesses in our community who have demonstrated their commitment to inclusivity and accessibility. Those who recognise that people in our community who live with disabilities, learning disabilities and  neurodiversity are an enormous asset to the world and so actively break down barriers to create an environment which celebrates differences. 

Special recognition award

Recognising and celebrating any individual who has shown a life-long commitment to working with disabled, learning disabled and neurodiverse children, adults and families within our community. One who works tirelessly to break down barriers to opportunity and inclusivity and who is a leading example of what can be achieved with commitment and dedication when you open your heart and mind to what is possible 

Shining star award

For a young person or child with SEND or Disabilities who despite the difficulties they have faced in life have gone on to do wonderful things within their community. Who have found their voice or faced great challenges and despite of it all have still found the ability to smile, show compassion and kindness. 

Judges Category

This award acknowledges an individual (18+) or business who may or may not have a large network or high public facing profile to gain lots of votes, but who the judges recognise as making a significant difference to breaking down barriers for either the lives of their staff or colleagues, customers or community. A nominated person may work hard behind the scenes in a supporting, operational or management role. A nominated business may be a micro, new or fast-growing organisation.
